Zealand moat supplies, and proposed to. place the surplus over the Army's ro-( quirements upon the market, for oivilii ans. i He had asked Mr. Mackenzie Commissioner for New Sip Thomas Robinson (Agent-General foe Queensland), and Mr.'Montague Nelson (of Nelson Bros.) to report on tha method of placing the meat on the man ket, and the conditions of sale, in order to prevent an iinduo increase in the prico such as might arise through a shortage in supplies. The Government was now considering their report, and their expert knowledge would bo of much advantage bqf the national interests.
