WOUNDED
OFFICERS Lust evening the Defence Headquarters announced that the following officers had been reported wounded: — WELLINGTON INFANTRY BATTALION* LIEUTENANT ALEXANDER BASTIN M'OALL (10/18); born in Wellington in 1892. He is a surveyor by occupation, and served in the 11th Regiment. Mr. Peter M'Call, of the Power House, Wellington, is his father. CANTERBURY INFANTRY BATTALION LIEUTENANT EDWARD H, S, BATC.HELOR (8/912); born in Christchurch in 1893. He was a clerk, and served in the Ist Canterbury Regiment, Major Harry S. Batchelor, of Christchurch, is. his next-of-kin. . OTAGO INFANTRY BATTALION LIEUTENANT GEO. FREDK. MYERS (No. 8/434); born in Dunedin in 1886. He served with the Defence Cadets. His next-of-kin is his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Myers, c.o. 241 Sprey Street, tnvercargiil. LIEUTENANT LOUIS G. WILSON (No. 8/99); born in Melbourne in 1693. He was a clerk, and enlisted from Balfour. He is a son of Mr. C. G. Wilson, of Sargood, Son and Ewen, Wellington. Mr. C. G. Wilson is one of. the best-known of New Zealand representative cricketers. Formerly the family resided in Otago, but Mr. Wilson, sen., came ito Wellington to live several years ago.
