REPRISALS
Sir,—Could not New Zealand give a lead by suggesting to England the advisability of conferring with the overseas Dominions as to what might fitly he done in the above direction, referring to the hundreds of thousands of German subjects residing amongst us Britishers and enjoying the benefits of the laws of us overseas people just as though the inhuman practices we hear of were not taking place in Germany towards our kith and kin. I suggest this for Mr. Massev's consideration. I onclose my card.—l am, etc., BRITISH.
