LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
A VALUABLE INSTITUTION. Sir, —There is a "rand little institution in Palmereton North named ''All Saints' Children's Home," founded by the Rev. C. G. Harper, and well nourished by the Rov. H. Rosher, our present vicar. Last night they had their annual meeting, and in reply to a question it was announced that the present inmates of the home consist of six from Palmerfa'ton, five from Eltham, two from Shannon, one Hunt.erville, two Patea, one Petone, two Hawera, two Waitgamii, and six from Wellington, 1 have underlined the last three words; they speak for themselves. Hitherto there has been an idea that the home is run entirely for children from this district. The centres round Wanganui are _ beginning to realise their responsibilities and have started to subscribe. Now, what are the Wellington people doing? Smely they will recognise their responsibilities and assist with funds that are so badly needed.—l am, etc., SUBSCRIBER. TO ALL SAINTS' CHILDREN'S HOME. Palmorston North, May 1.
