BOXING
TO-NIGHT'S TOURNAMENT. • To-night's boxing tournament in aid of the Fund for Wounded Soldiers promises to attract a full house, and patrons are promised an excellent variety. Contests are set down between leading local amateurs, between representatives of Rugby clubs, and between members of tie now in camp at Trentham. In addition, a display of jiu-jitsu, bayonet fighting in attack and defence ■will be given, which,. when shown here for the first time at the raihvaymen's benefit night, attracted a large snare of attention." Those who were not present on that occasion should make a point of seeing to-night's display. The prices are low; and "only standing room" is likely to be announced before the time for commencing tlio performance tonight. Mr. T. Sampson will referee the boxing .contests.
