RIFLE-SHOOTING
This afternoon tlie Karon Rifle Club will fire a friendly match with the Old Naval Rifle Club on the latter's range at Miraniar. Tho following' team will represent the Old Navals Club: —Pres. J. Rabe, Dep.-Pres. W. Harris, Riflemen F. E. Franklyn/R. Pringle, G. Dell, F. Standidge, R. J. Gray, A. Fellows, A. Guise, M. Hugo, C. Hugo, R. Bishop. ■ . The conditions will bo; Ten shots and sighter each at'3oo yards and 500 yards. HUTT VALLEY GTJN CLTJB. The annual meeting of the above club was held at. the Central Hotel on Wednesday evening, before a fair attendance of members. The 'report and balancesheet as read were adopted, while trophies won during the season were presented as follow: —Messrs. S. Scott, W. Kilmister, G. M. Williams, A. E. Smith, W. Tulloch, Ri Philp, and, E. Flux. A/hearty vote of thanks was accorded the various donors of trophies. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as under Patron, Mr! A. Gadsby; president and treasurer, Mr. S.,Scott; vice-presidents, Messrs. G.' M. Williams, F. Gadsby, and J. Brasell; 'joint secretaries, Messrs. J. Brasell and Scholes; committee, Messrs. S. Edwards, E. Flux,' W.' Kilmister, W. Meager, A. E. Smith, and R. Philp.
