LARGE ESTATES
A FOXTON PETITION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Foxton, April 30. A petition containing the signatures of upwards of 600 citizens is to be presented to the Prime Minister, praying tfye Government to acquire the Moutoa and other large estates for closer settlement; also flax areas for future protection and development of the industry. A deputation will accompany the petition, and Mr. Field, M.P.„ will be present. '
