FORTY-SEVEN THOUSAND VOLUNTEERS. (Rec. ; April 29 5.20 p.m.) Lont'en, April 28. Mr. J. M. Robertson (Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade), speaking in the House of Commons, stated that forty-seven thousand women had volunteered for var service.
