RECRUITING LECTURE

Hornsby, M.P., Wairarapa, delivered a lecture on the war, to assist the funds and aid recruiting, in the Town Hall to-night, to a crowded house. The address was inspiring, and concluded with a strong appeal to the youth of the country to enlist and aid /the Empire in the present crisis. Other speakers followed on similar lines, arid it is believed these will have a good effeot on enlistment#*
