FOUR THOUSAND TURKS

TAKEN WOUNDED TO JERUSALEM. Th« Alexandria correspondent of tie "Al Mokattama" learns from refugees who recently arrived in Cairo from •Palestine that about four thousand wounded troops were brought back to. Jerusalem by the Turkish expeditionary force after the attack on the Suez Canal, and were under treatment at' that town in the various hospitals and oher buildings belonging to subjects of the Allies, such as monasteries, charity homes, etc. Six hundred and five of the wounded men have been discharged as cured and allowed to return to their respective homes; on condition that they rejoin the army in fivo months, when the military authorities allege the attack on Egypt is to be renewed.
