SENSATIONAL ARREST.
ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT. Detective Rawle arrested Barclay Hector, Registrar of the University of New Zealand, at Wellington laßt evening on a charge of 'having failed to account for the sum of £1027.185. 10d., which amount he is alleged to have received on behalf of. the University of New Zealand from the Wellington Trust, Loan and Investment Society, Ltd.
