(Hoc. April 26, 10.15 p.m.) , „ ■, , Sydney, April 2ft. A deadlock occurred in regard to the pioposed resumption of the Sydney wool sales to-day. Though it was 6tated, on behalf of the . brokers, that arrangements would be made to get. the "wool expeditiously, away, the buyers, in view of the unreliability of present shipping facilities, and possible shortage of freight owing to the Government taking over the snips, asked for the cancellation of the oondition sale stipulating for 6 per oent. interest on settlement accounts running longer than a fortnight. The brokers declined to concede this. Negotiations are proceeding, and the sales are indefinitely postponed.
