INTERESTING FIGURES. The following figures made in connec--1 tion with the Salvation Army Congress, which concluded its sittings on Thursday, will be read with interest, as showing the progress which the organisation is making in its various _ departments. The figures deal with the twelve mouths ending December, 1914. In the seniors there was an increase of 13 officers and cadets over the corresponding period of the preceding year; soldiers, increase, 128; "War Crys." increase of 9022; "Young Soldiers, increase 33,189; soldiers' open-air attendance, increase, 13,940. The number of local officers in 1913 was 1251, and at the end of 1914 it was 1421, an increase of 170. Junior: Extra junior soldiers on roll, 943; attendances at company meetings, an increase of 35,957; number of corps-cadets 322, increase of G8; total (junior), income £2191 17s. 10d., increase of £1041 18s. lOd.; number of young people's workers 830, increase of 96.
