MINISTERS IN CONFERENCE
Paris, April 23. Mr.. Churchill (British First Lord of the Admiralty) visited M. Augagneur (French Minister for Marine), and the pair had a conference in North France regarding methods for hastening tho Dardanelles operations. DECISIVE ACTION BEGUN. TROOPS LANDED AT THREE POINTS. (Rec. April 25, 3.40 p.m.) Athens, April 24. Unofficial reports state _ that a de«isivo action has begun, in tho Dardanelles. Squadrons bombarded the straits at various points west of Gallipoli. Landing of troops has been effected at three points—-Sulvar, in Gallipoli, Enos, and Bulair. BLACK SEA COAST. A SLAVONIC SUGGESTION. London, April 23. The Slavonic Reciprocity faocicty at Petrograd ureos that Russia should be granted the Turkish Black Sea coast, the Allies controlling tho Bagdad railway—("Times" ana Sydney "Sun" services.) TURKEY AND PEACE. ITALY AND AMERICA SOUNDED. (Rec. April 26, 0.0 a.m.) Paris, April 24. . The "Temps" states that Turkey lias sounded Italy and America with a view to arranging a separate peace with the' Triple Entente.
