At the Lower Hutt Recreation Ground yesterday afternoon the Petone Municipal Band rendered a musical programme to an attendance of about 250 persons. It is understood that a fair amount of money was gathered as a reStilt, which is to be handed over lo the newly-formed Hlit-t Valley Brass Band. During the afternoon the Hutt, Band Officials thanked the visitors for their assistance, expressing the hope that it would jiot bo loniz the local baud satiua' Uio comliaieiit.'
