Mails for Australian States' and South Africa close at Auckland, per R'iverina, on Tuesday, April 27, at 10.45 a.m. Late letters for mails beyond tho Dominion cannot in future be posted on the steamer, but must be posted in the late-letter posting box at-the Chief Post Office up to the appointed time shown on the mail notice.
The advertised times for closing mailß by sttamers are liable to alteration (earlier or later) at any moment.'

Parcels for dispatch by steamers and trains, with the exception of the usual Ferry Steamers for Southern offices, closo at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, one hour before the advertised times of closing: of mails.
As the last clearance of the City receivers is made at 5.45 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for Sunday night Auckland express must be posted a.t the Chief Post Office not later than 8 p.m. on Sunday.
The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuables intended to bo sent by post. All books and sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion u.ust be posted half an hour before, the ordinary letter mail closes.
"Unless otherwise specified, registered let tcre and parcels post packages must bo handed in aud money orders obtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes.
