H'Nally (Pukekohe), and B. Chamberlain, £25;' A. Wrigley, £12 10s.; D. Fraser (Napier), B. Burgess (Rangitane), L. E. Meads (Mangerunm), L. Hughes (Auckland), W. Wilsbn (Pukekohe), E. Flux (Hutt), H. Tatham (Masterton), divide £12 103. The sweepstake-resulted as follows:— H. Jensen (Carterton) and W. Wilson (Pukekohe), £7 10s.; A. G. Bartlett (Te Horo), G. G. Potts (Wanganui), E. Flux (Hutt), T. Hedley (Ngaruawahia), £4. The colts' match was won by A. M'Gregor (Masterton). _ The New Zealand championship takes place to-day. , .. „ Palmerston North, April 20. The New Zealand clay bird championship was tired at Palmerston North today, E. R. King (Tauranga) and D. Kraser (Napier) tied for first placo, taking £39 14s. each. The shoot-off resulted in E. R- King winning the title. L. Hughes (Auckland) and H. Jensen (Carterton), £7 2s. each, were other winners. The sweepstake resulted as follows: H. Clinch (Auckland) and H. Jensen I (Carterton) divide £29, W. Woolven (Wanganui) £5 4s.
