The parcel post mail per Main Trunk express closes at tho C.P.O. at 11.30 a.m., ond for the South per Ferry Steamer at 5.45 p.m. Parcels for dispatch by steamers and trains, with the exception of the usual Ferry Steamers for Southern offices, close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington,' one hour before tho advertised times of closing of mailß. ' As the last clearance of the City receivers is made at 5.45 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for Sunday night Auckland express must be posted at the Ohief Poet Office not later than 8 p.m. on Sunday, The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post. All books and sample packets and newspapers for placed withm the Dominion ii-ust be posted half an hour-before the ordinary letter mail closes. Unless otherwise specified, registered let ters and parcels post packages • must bo handed in and money ordors obtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes.
