The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report:—At our weekly Bale hold at Levin, on Friday a. very heavy yarding of cattle came forward, a good clearance was made at the following prices:—Medium fat cows, £6, £€ 10a., £7, to £7 12a. 6d.; light fat heifers, £5 ss. to £5 165.; venters, 20s. to 305.; forward cows, £4 )75.; heifers R.W.8., £i 7s. to £5 5e.; springing heifers, £8 12*3. 6d.; bulls, £4 4s. £6 sg„ to £10. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report having conducted a clearing eale of dairy stock and implements, etc., at Waikanae, on Wednesday la€t, on account of Adam Gordon. A good attendance, of buyers was present, and the prices realised were as follows:—June calvcrs, £8 7s. 6d. to'£lo 55.: July calvcrs, £9 2s. 6d. to £9 155., to £10 12s. fid.; August calverß, £8 to £9 10s.; heifers at drop, £13 15s.'; weaner heifers, 305.; weaner bulls, 20s. to 305.; fat porkers, 305.; implements and sundries at satisfactory prices. A weaner calf, given by Mr. Gor-' don, and offered on account of the Belgium Belief Fund, brought 30s.
