Honolulu, Japan, Canada, United States of America, Central America, West ladies, Mexico, United States of Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuola, British, Dutch, and French Guiana, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, close at Auckland, per Makuro, on Tuesday, April 20, at 8.30 a.m. Late letters for mails beyond the Dominion cannot in future be posted on the steamer, b\lt must be posted in the late-lett«r posting box at the Chief Post Office up to the appointed time Bhown on'the mail notice. The advertised times for closing mails by steamers are liable to alteration (earlier or later) at any moment. The parcel post mfliil per Main Trunk express closes at the C.P.O. at 11.30 a.m., and for the South per Ferry Steamer at 5.45 p.m. Parcels for dispatch by steamers and trains, with the exception of the usual Ferry Steamers for Southern offices, dose at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, one hour before the advertised times of closing of 1 mails. As the last clearance of the City receivers is made at 5.45 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for Sunday night Auckland express must be posted at the Ohief Post Office not later than 8 p.m. on Sunday. The publio are earnestly requested to register all leitere containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post. All books and sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion n-ust be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter mail closes. Unless otherwise specified, registered letters and parcels post packages must be handed in and money orders ohtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes. All tho principal mails by train and steamer close at Te Aro and Courtenay Place Post Offices at the same hours as at the Ohief Po6t Office, with the exception that thoer is no late fee clearance, and that mails by the ferry steamers for Souther" offices close at 5.45 p.m. Mails for Auckland and Auckland District per second Main Trunk express close at Courtenay Placo at 5.45 p.m., and Te Aro at 8 p.m. A.
