« Mr. E. B. Eaglo, of Belvedere, has received from tho Agricultural Department the semi-official list of his purebred Jersey cows. Belvedere Sunglean, for 222 days of milking, yielded 7945.11b. of milk, and a butter-fat test of 1 426.81. Belvedere Sultana, in 269 days, gave 9128.51b. of milk, and a test of butterfat of 403.27. Beth cows are four years old, and lnve been in milk seven months. Tho standard sot by the Department is 309.9 of butter-fat. It will thus be seen that both cows have easily beateu the standard.
The children of the AVaingawa School have purchased a doll, and aro asking Miss Beatrice Day, of the Plimmer-Hafi Dramatic Company, to auction it at their performance in Mas tor ton early next month, in aid of tho Belgian children.
