RAILWAY FATALITY

MAN KILLED AT PAJiSKAKAEIKI, Last night the police were advised of a railway fatality at Paekakanln. From the meagre particulars available it appears that a man's body was discovered horribly mutilated on the lines near the station at Paekakariki. He was breathing his last, and on being conveyed on to the platform died immediately. The identity of the unfortunate man was not known last night, ilia man was discovered _by i a railway official on the train which left Wellington for Paekakariki shortly after 6 p.m.
