EDISON AND THE SUBMARINE
A NEW STORAGE BATTERY. (Rec. April 14, 10.35 p.m.) New York, April 13. Mr. T. A. Edison announces that he has perfected a new submarine storage battery, which will enable a submarine to remain ten days submerged without danger of chlorine poisoning for the crew. The battery, he says, will give an un-< derwater range of 160 miles.
