Due at Wellington from Melbourne and Hobart on Saturday, the Paloona will land 350 tons of general cargo at this port before proceeding on to Hobart. R.M.S. lonic is due from Picton next Saturday. She will leave here for London on Thursday, April 22. Advice has been received by the Marine Department that the Hinemoa finished landing stores at East Cape yesterday, and had gone •on to Mercury Bay and Cuvior Island lighthouse. •The management of the Knight Line of steamers (Greenshields, Cowie and Co.), Liverpool, which consists of the Knight Companion. 4625 tons net; Knight of the Garter, 4295 tons; Knight of the Thistle, 4286 tons; Knight Templar, 4602 tons, has for the period of the war been placed in the hands of Messrs. Alfred Holt and Co. Latest charters include the haroue Rona, 618 tons. She will bring a load of coal from Newcastle to Nelson. The Union Company's Tavluni, vrhich arrived at Auckland from the Cook Islands yesterday, will sail again for the Eastern I Pacific at 5 p.m. to-day.
