HOCKEY.
' Members of the different hookey clubs commenced practice at Karon Park on Saturday. There was a good muster of players and some useful practice work was put in in preparation for the opening of tho season on April 24. The proposed match between a Karori team and an eleven from the Troutham camp did not eventuate, as tho latter side failed to. put in an appearance.
