OFFICIAL OPENING TO-DAY. Tho combined opening meeting for tho 1916 season of tho Wellington Harrier Clubs will take placo from Cliff House, Island Bay, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. All the city clubs will be represented by their best runners, and His Worship bho Mayor, has consented to be present officiaUy to declare the season open. All those of tho general jjublic interested in this form of athletics aro invited to be present, and granted fine weather tho outing should be enjoyable at this popular seaside resort.
