' Messrs. W. and G. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., report having hel4 their weekly eale in their Waipoua (Masterton) eale yards on Wednesday. A good yarding of Bheep came forward far above numbers advertised, which met with only a fair damand, but the bulk of the yarding changed hands at the following prices:—Pat ewes, 20s.j forward ewes, 16s. 6d., 17s. 10d.; 4 and 5-year ewes, 18s. sd. to IBs. 9d.; f.m. ewes, 145., 14s. 6d., to 165.; medium, 10s. to 10s. -9d.; poor, Be. 3d.; 2-tooth to f.m. ewes, 13s, 4d.,145. Id., to 14s.- 2d.; 2, 4, and 6-tooth ewee, 16s. 7d. to 17s. 9d.; 2-tooth ewes, 155., 15s. 3d., 16a. Id., to 175.; 2-tooth wethers, 16s. 9d. to IBs. 9d.; 2-tooth ewes and wethers,. 14s. lOd.; b.f. woolly lambs, good 13s. 3d. to 13s. 9d„ poor 9s. 6d,; woolly lambs. 14«. 2d.; shorn wether lambs, 13e. 7d.; s.d. rams, 3?gns.; fc-tooth to f.m., s.d. rams, 21gns. ■ The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report:—At Raumai on Tuesday we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle, which sold at late rates: Forward ewes, '13s. 2d.; small mixen lamba 86. 9c}.; aged store cows, 205.: 255„ to £3 35.: fat heifers, £5 16?.; fat cows, £7 165.; mixed weaners, 16s. „
