GOEBEN AND BRESLAU CHASED (Reo. April 6, 8 p.m.) Petrcgrad, April 6. Official.—"Our Fleet near the Crimean coast exchanged shots at long range with the Goeben and Breslau and pursued them until dusk. Dunns the night our torpedo boats encountered cruisers a hundred miles from the Bosphorus- The enemy opened a vigorous fire but avoided an engagement." THE SINKING OF THE MEDJIDIEH. (Rec. April 6, 8 p.m.) Amsterdam, April 6. An official message from Constantinople states that the Turkish cruiser Medjidieh was mined at Otchatoff. Turkish warships saved the crew, and the cruiser was then torpedoed to prevent the Russians raising her afterwards.
