THE MORGAN SHIPPING COMBINE.
■ A RECEIVER APPOINTED. New York, April 4. A receiver has been appointed in con.neotion with the affairs of the International Mercantile Marine Company, an organisation of J. P. Morgan's comprising British, American,' end Belgian steamship lines. The company is unable to pay interest on collateral trust bonds. Since the outbreak of the war its earnings have diminished. British subsidiary companies are ribt affected.
