. PetrOgrad, April 5. Russian cavalry, dismounting, attacked the Austrian front at Schiwvscy, and repeatedly resorted to the bayonet. •The Cossacks similarly broke the enemy's desperate resistance. The Russian infantry followed up an< impetuous attack and dislodged -the enemy from the heights, and occupicd several villages. The Russian advance in Erzerum (in A6ia Minor) prevents the withdrawal of the 'Turks for reinforcing the garrison at Constantinople.
