AFTER THE WAR
GERMAN IDEA OF THE MAP OP EUROPE London, April 2. Eye-Witness" writes: "Captured officers freely acknowledge that Germany started the war,_ and frankly admit that Austria has failed so badly that she will have to bleed. Tho Austrian Empire will cease to exist. 'The Germans, 1 they say, 'will give some of Austria's territory to Italy, ami include the Ger-man-speaking portion in the German Empire, of which Luxemburg will also become a part. The Germans will.welcome a Grand Duchy of Poland as between themselves and Russia, and will insist on Belgium joining the Gorman Zollverein, Antwerp becoming an international port. A great Central European Confederation of tho Germanio peoples will be formed, to include Scandinavia. The Germans are now taking comprehensive measures to remove tho whole of the civil population from tho territory they occupy in Franco. A most noticeable thing about the German troops is their acceptanco of the heaviest losses and personal misfortunes witli complete cheerfulness, provided that they know we are 'winning.] "—"Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.
