In the Shorffiorn bulls class, Mr. Dundas's Duke of Derrimat V, which had taken the first prize, brought 460gns. On behalf of Mr. R. M'Lean, of Hawkesbury, two Shorthorns were sold for 210 and 250 guineas respectively, while seven others ranged from 160 guineas down to Go guineas. Sales on behalf of Mr. William Nixon, of Canterbury, Mr. Lovelock, of Palmerston, and Mr. Wright, of Windermere, realised prices which ranged from 100 guineas to 25 guineas.
