ANOTHER AUSTRALIAN CONTINGENT

STATEMENT BY THE FEDERAL PRIME MINISTER. (Rec. March 31, 8.55 p.m.) Sydney, March 81. The Federal Premier, Mr. Fisher, speaking at a luncheon to-day, announced that he had that day cabled the Imperial Government offering another contingent for service at ' the front. Mr. Fisher remarked that the relations between Australia and New Zealand were more cordial than thev had ever been before. New Zealand was sending a delegate to discuss matters of common interest. He denied the London rumour that he was accepting the High Commissionership. OFFER ACCEPTED. (Rec. March 31, 9.55 p.m.) Sydnsy, March 31. _ Mr. Fisher's offer of another contingent has been accepted.
