VICTORIA COLLEGE GRADUATES
The annual meeting of the Victoria University College Graduates' Association was held' last evening, Mr. S. Eichelbaum in the chair. Tlie report and balance-sheet were adopted. The finances were shown to be in a very satisfactory condition, there being a credit balance of £10 9s. It was placed on record that the Graduates' Association expresses ap2>reciation of the action of those students wl\o volunteered for active scrvico.
The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as under President, Mr. S. Eichelbaum, M.A., LL.B.; secretary, Mr. C. J. Cooke, 8.A.; treasurer, Mi. G. G. G. Watson, M.A., LL.B.; committee, Misses F. Cooke, 8.A., and Hales, 8.A., Messrs. Broad, LL.B., and Evans, 8.A., LL.M.
It waß moved and carried that it be a recommendation to tile incoming committee to support financially and otherwise any movement which may be commenced for the purpose of placing in the College building an Honours Board to contain the names of graduates and undergraduates of> Victoria University College who have gone on active service in the present war. Tho meeting resolved that the association donate tho sum of £5 Ss. out of its funds to the Belgian poor.
