The Masterton Gun Club opened its season last week. A strong team is being selected to compete at the championship meeting to be held at Pahnerston North.

The Rugby football season is to be opened in Masterton on Saturday, April 10. ' "

The death occurred on Saturday night of Mrs. Hunter, wife of Mr. Ji. Hunter, secretary of the Masterton branch of the Farm Workers' Industrial Union. Tile deceased was only thirty-threo years of age.
