NATIONAL PROVIDENT FUND
The valuable benefits of- the Government National Provident Fund are not. probably as widely known as they ought to be, but the fact that the_ sum of ,£2671 has been paid in maternity benefits up to the end of last year should illustrate the extent of the help contributors receive at a time when it is urgently needed. In addition to this there is a comfortable annuity at 60, and the other benefits comprise incapacity and widows' ana children's allowances, as well as the .£G on the birth of each contributor's child. The offices of (the fund are in the Bank of New Zealand Building, corner of Cuba and Manners Streets, where the public may call and obtain full information. Spccial hours of business to suit workere have been arranged.
