THE POULTRY INDUSTRY

The Conference of Poultry Breeders, which will commence on Saturday, April 3,. at 10 a.m., in the Town Hall, and will conclude on Easter Tuesday evening, promises to be of much importance to those interested in the industry. After the preliminary business on Saturday morning, tliero will be a social gathering and a dinner in the evening. On Monday morning several special committees will present their reports, and the election of officers ' will take place, while the evening will be devoted to practical addresses. Remits will be considered on Tuesday, and a deputation will wait on the' Minister of Agriculture. The Chief Government Poultry Expert will deliver an. address iu tile evening. This is the annual convention of utility poultry keepers, and tlw local committee has the arrangements well in hand.
