The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report having. held their usual monthly sale at Waikanae on Tuesday. A fair yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward, and with the exception ; of one pen of sheep, a total clearance wa» made at the following prices F.m. ewea; 13s. Id.; cull do., 76. Messrs. Abraham and Williams,- • Ltd., Pahietua, report having conducted at Pahiatua, on March 25, a highly-successful Me of all the stock of Mr. D. W Allen, of Pori, and Mr. N. L. Avery, of Ngaturi,. who have just sold their properties: ';TJie quality of the Btock wa6 exceptionally good.': Tho sheep were in first-class condition, heavily woolled, and of strong constitution.
