NEW CITY BUILDING

« The Wellington Publishing Company (The Dominion) this week accepted a tender for extensive additions to its preaiises routing Bouloott Street and Dominion Avenue. A new three-story building is to be erected, between the present main' building and the bulk store, to accomodate the newspaper and general printing department, and an additional story is to bo added_ to the bulk store. Considerable additions are also being made to the company's plant, including the importation of a large five-reel printing press of latest design— tho biggest thing of its kind yet introduced into Wellington. Messrs. Orichton and M'Kny were the architects, and Messrs. Campbell and Burke the successful tenderers for the buildings. tho erection of which is expected to take about six months.
