« MR. HALL'S SCHEME AS SEEN BY THE EMPLOYERS. (By Telegraph—Press A6?n.—Copyright.) Sydney, March 24. The Executive of the Employers' Federation, in a criticism of the Hon. D. R. Hall's State bread scheme, 6ays that the experiment would ruin a large number of established businesses, and accentuate industrial evils already created by the extensive Government employment of labour; and' would tend to check investment of money in private industrial concerns. The Executive adds: Government monopolies afo only successful and workablo where labour is under the control of tho Government. T'liey arc foredoomed to failure in Australia, where organised Labour controls the Government.
