THE MILITARY RIOTS AT SINGAPORE
NORMAL CONDITIONS RESTORED. The High Commissioner reports:— London, March 23, 9.55 p.m. The Coloual Oiiice Announces that in Singapore normal conditions have been restored. All tho rioters except eleven have surrendered or been captured or killed. Five wore shot after trial,_ one was sentenced to fifteen years' imprisonment, and seven to one,year's imprisonment.
