BROOKLYN HARRIERS
ANNUAL MEETING. The anuual meeting of the Brooklyn Harriers was held in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms last night. Mr. I'. A. AVilton presided, and there was an attendance of about thirty. The annual report and balance-sheet, which were adopted, showed that tho balance of assets over liabilities amounted to £18 7s. 4d. The membership of tho club stood at 46 active members, four honorary members, and 18 lady members. During the season nineteen runs were held, the average attendance being 18. Six members, Messrs. G. Bristow, F. Harleii, P. Harvey, R. Harvey, W. Wakelin, and C. Willis attended every run. Tho highest number of points for 'runs-'in" was obtained by G. Hutton. The committee suggssted to the incoming committee that steps should be taken to secure a suitable club room at the earliest opportunity. The thanks of tho club were accorded to Messrs. P. Harvey, G. Bristow, L. A. Georgo, A. Wilton, C. Guise, J. Andrews, and P. Oliver for donations, to_ R. Marshall, P. Harvey, C. Watt, |W. Smith. P. Wilton, and W. BallanI tyne for donating trophies for competition. to the land-owners for allowing the club to run over their property, to the ladies' committee for their untiring efforts, to Mrs. Harlen for officiating at the piano, and to Mr. G. Bristow, senr., for acting as official at Saturday runs.
