SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
•A iS e ® ni ' ors ' friend Society last night the Misses Van Staveren provided a programme. During the evening a mouth organ and singing competition was held, and gave much pleasure. A presentation was made to Miss Paul, in recognition of her past services as organist, ami also to Mr. liroeklebank as ii token of esteem by the workers in connection with the institute. The missioner, Sir." Moore, who presided, gave a short address on the tempera nee question. At the close of the concert a vote of thanks to the performers was moved b,v the missioner, and 'was responded to bv Miss Van Staveren.
