ZEPPELIN RAIDER REPORTED LOST
GERMAN AEROPLANE ALSO MISSING London, March 21. The "Central News" reports that a Zeppelin has been destroyed at Liage. It is supposed it is one of those returning from the Paris raid. - The aeroplano which dropped bombs on the Dutch steamer Zevenbergen, in the North Sea, and also chased and bombarded an English merchantman in the Downs, is missing. / HOVERING RAIDERS DRIVEN OFF. Paris, March 22. French guns drove off two Taubeß that were oyer Nancy on Saturday, also a Zeppelin over Fort Vert, northeast of Calais. INTERNED LINER ATTEMPTS TO ESCAPE STOPPED BY THE SHORE BATTERIES. (Rec. March 23, 5.30 p.m.) London, March 22. The Hainburg-Amerika liner Odenwald, which had been interned at San Juan, Puerto Rico (in the West Indies), attempted to escape. The forts fired a blank cartridges at her, and then, as tho steamer persisted in her course, live shells were fired. Tho Odenwald then returned to her anchorage, and was seized by the Customs authorities. —("Times" and Sydney "Sun" ■ Services.)
