GERMAN DESERTER'S STORY
SHOOTING BRITISH PRISONERS (Rec, March 23, 1.10 a.m.) London, March 22. The "Daily Express", states that Friedrich Kuhler, a Bavarian deserter through ill-treatment, alleges that the Germans in_ December last shot thirty British prisoners, including several officers, The bulk of the men were shot by order by Major Hoffman, and this was carried out by Lieutenant Neumehle at Werwin.uk, between Menin and Warneton.
