The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—Wo held our usual weekly sale at Eketahuna on Fri-. day, when • we offered ft {rood yarding of sheep and cattle. Competition was not eo keen'as at the previous sale, and prices were somewhat easier. However, we made almost a. total clearance under the hammer at the following rates:—Four and 5year ewes, 13s 7d. to 155.; backward do., 6s. 9d. to 7s. 6d.; small 2-tooth ewes, 12s. to 12s. Id.; forward shorn w.f. lambs. 10s. Bd.; small b.f. do., ss. 9d.; Southdown rams, 3Jgns. to 6gns
