PROGRESS OF THE MOVEMENT,

It is expected that Porirua will furnish a full platoon to the Reserve. Mr. Prosser has offered the use of a suitable site for a rifle range j and as soon as this has been officially inspected and approved it is to be put into working shape, at onct>. '

There are indications that, the muster of the Resarve.'for the Opera House parade on Wednesday night will be a •full one. Several of the area secretaries hare notified that Their companies will attend practically in full strength. Arrangements have, been made to supply those wishing to a'tend the performance of "Lady Windermere's Fan 1 ' with tickets beforehand, so as to avoid delay or orush <.n arrival at the Opera House. The roll of the Wellington (No. ft) Group is expected to be* completed at the Headquarters Office early this week, and the Military Committee whict has been appointed under Section 3 of the Defence Department Instructions, consisting of the president (Colonel I'crter, C.8,), Major H. F. Davis, V.D., and I Major E. Davy, V.D./will then pioceed at once to break up the Reserve into the necessary units. As soon as this is done and the necessary military instructions issued everything will be in full swing.
