YOUTHFUL BURGLARS

A youth named 1 Eric Street, who was ' shot in the arm when trying to break into Mr. Varley's grocery stop in Dominion Road'at midnight last Thursday, and his companion, Selwyiv Hodges,' came before Mr. E. C. Cut-ten, S.M., i this morning on seven charges of breaking and entering, and oho of attempted breaking. The evidence indicated that the lada had not made a success of the burglary business, their loot from the whole lot being 495. 6i<J. in cash, a ham, a Big Ben clock, a pair of leggings, five re- ■ volvers, a-quantity of ammunition, besides a few odds and ends of little * value. ; . The accused-i»leaded guilty, and were committed for sentence.
