SENTRY FIRED AT
BY SKULKING PROWLER NEAR 1 RESERVOIR, • • Perth, March 18. A sentry, who was guarding a reservoir challenged a man, who refused to stop. He was again challenged, and then the sentry fired, but the man was not hit. Tile latter fired at one of the sentries, whose cap was pierced. Later the same night a man was again observed in the vicinity. Ho was challenged and fired at, but made off into the bush.
