MEETING OP INDUSTRIAL REPRESENTATIVES . London, March 17. The national conference of Labour representatives and representatives of the engineering, shipbuilding, coalmining, and transport industries, which was summoned by the Government to discuss the Government's control of war material factories, has appointed a committee of. seven Labour officials as an advisory committco to the Government. TROUBLE OVER A WAR BONDS STRIKE OF STEVEDORES. London, March 17. Fifteen hundred stevedores' struck because several shipowners refused to pay the war bonus agreed between the Master Stevedores' Association and the Stevedores' Union. MINERS DEMAND MORE PAY INCREASE OF 20 PER CENT. London, March 17. , A conference of tho Miners' Federation in Britain resolved to demand an increase in wages of 20 per cent., owing to tho increase in the price of foodstuffs, and will invito a joint meeting of owners and workmen to discuss tho matter. s.
